It's the Witching Hour

Being a Brit and not that experienced in Pumpkin carving, I tackled what I thought was an impossible mission - carving an International Space Station pumpkin. I call it the:

ISS-Above – Pumpkin edition

Kids who come by our house this Halloween will get a different kind of a treat – with live views of the earth from the International Space Station with light displays from an LED strip with 144 RGB LED’s – all controlled via Bluetooth LE.

Here is a little edited video of what the display looks like during an active pass of the ISS

Inspired by a family challenge to create pumpkins (which I have never ever... I mean NEVER before done). I carved a very poor looking ISS in to the pumpkin - inside there is a 144 RGB LED strip - controlled by the ISS-Above using a bluetooth LE. Looks pretty neat.

Check our Contact page to get our address and come over for a visit. It's a treat for everyone. I might even get the telescope out.
