SpaceTV-1 a new 4K External Camera System on the ISS from Sen

There is a new 4K External Camera System on the ISS

In late August 2024 a new external 4K camera payload was installed in the International Space Station. The camera payload is called “SpaceTV-1” and has three available camera views.

The system is currently in test mode (as of October 2024) - with occasional public live streaming.

ISS Above has been given special permission to preview the live feed on our devices. You will occasionally see the live video from one of the three cameras available from Sen over the next few weeks.

Due to hardware limitations and other factors, the ISS-Above is not able to display the view in full 4K quality. However, the views are still quite exceptional.
