Dear Principal

ISS-ABOVE in 100 Schools

The ISS-ABOVE unit, attached to a TV, shows informational screens about the International Space Station and streams live video of the Earth when the Space Station is in sunlight. You can find out more at www.issabove.com.

One of your teachers applied for an ISS-ABOVE and associated Curriculum. Your school has been selected to receive the ISS-ABOVE package funded by CASIS (Center for the Advancement of Science in Space).

1.       The ISS-ABOVE will be the property of the school, not of the individual teacher. Should the teacher move to another school, the ISS-ABOVE should stay in your school.

2.       The Curriculum provided is open source (namely, it may be used, shared and modified within the school, as long as existing acknowledgements are preserved).

3.       As part of this CASIS funded program, teachers and students will be asked to take part in an evaluation (survey-based) to determine outcomes from using the device and the curriculum.

We need to have you complete a quick form to ensure that we have your contact details and can confirm the official acceptance of the ISS-Above package to your school.  Please click the "COMPLETE AKNOWLEDGEMENT" button below to fill out the form required.

NOTE: There is no charge to the school for this program and the ISS-Above device and teacher materials will be the property of the school.  At the conclusion of the evaluation phase of the project (JUNE 2018) the ISS-Above will remain with the school to continue inspiring your students for many years to come.

If you have any questions, email or call me and I’ll get right back to you.

Regards
